I always think that the modernists won the fight for the way we live in a house, open plans and multi-use areas for example. But we never were able to convince people that the modern exteriors were "home". All of my clients scream for more openness, light and shared uses of a space, but they all want the gable roof, with fake dormers, as well. It tears me apart. I also hope that this will open people up to a more modern approach to the exteriors that better suits the interiors that we love so much. j Great topic.
